Lit & Comp: Genre Studies

Course Description:
Several courses in the DMPS English Pathway grant students the opportunity to focus their studies in particular genres of literature. These courses, which stand as a replacement for the senior-level English IV (World Literature) class, include studies of culture, time, drama, speculative fiction, literature drawn from the world of sports, and tighter focus on the powerful work of female authors. No matter what direction a student wishes to focus their study of literature, a genre study course can be the perfect method of furthering that exploration.
